Contract Bridge

Contract Bridge (formally Rubber Bridge) is now the name of this bridge group. If you haven’t played bridge in a while, think you need a partner or that it’s been too long since you played, this is the group for you! The tables play 4 or 5 hands then everyone shifts around to the next table. Everyone gets a chance to play everyone else. Have a spouse or partner that also plays? Bring them with you!
We play monthly on the first Thursday. Social hour starts at 11:00 am and the games start at about 12:15 pm. We play to about 3:30 pm. Everyone buys lunch at Roundtable, which has good pizza, really good salad bar, a variety of drinks and allows us the use of the facility without charge.

Update for Partners and Contract Bridge. For now, the contract bridge group has been paused until we can get some new members. Anyone wanting to play bridge should come to the Partners Session. The contract bridge group was meeting on the first Thursday of the month. I want to hold on to that time slot for now. On the Activity Report, please say activity is paused and anyone wanting to play bridge should contact Dave Dawson (at email and phone number). Thanks.
For the Partner Bridge group, we are going to allow single or other bridge teams to play. We’ll do our best to partner up any single players with existing partners, or as substitutes, etc. New players can come with any current bridge partners they may have (spouse, existing bridge partners) . Partners Bridge play on the 3rd Monday of the month at the Round Table Clubhouse (Treat and Oakgrove). A reminder email goes out to the group the week before.
